Timothy Sykes has donated a copy of his new book An American Hedge Fund: How I Made $2 Million as a Stock Operator & Created a Hedge Fund.
This is a great story about determination and following your dreams. Tim lets us into his life and takes us along the roller coaster journey he experiences from New York to New Orleans to Orlando as he makes his way from a meager $12,400 to nearly $2 million.
What I love about this book is how almost conversational it is. Tim writes as if he is sitting here telling the story to you directly. It’s an uncensored look into the life of a trader. He details his big wins and his astounding losses with clarity I haven’t seen since reading Jim Cramer’s Confessions of a Street Addict.
The best part is, I am giving this signed copy away. I was fortunate enough to win a copy from John Chow about a month ago and Tim kindly offered me a copy after deciding he liked my blog(s)
