I just think we all have it within us to contribute to others in meaningful ways and December has a way of reminding me of that. I forgot to mention, I also buy a coupon book every year from a guy that comes around to our house every year as a fundraiser for the National Missing Children's Foundation. For $20 I get two coupon books that get 2 for 1 entrees and other things at companies in my area. It's a great way to give and get at the same time. A note on the Bill Gates charitable giving is that he got crap for years for not really giving his money away.
