Happy 4th of July
Today is July 4th, the day US Citizens celebrate the anniversary of our independence from England. This day is always a little more special to me than others because I have a relative that was part of American history. I’m sure there are a lot of you that have ties to history in this country and I think that’s very cool.
On July 4th, 1776 James Wilson signed his name to the Declaration of Independence. He was one among many, but I mention this because he was my great, great, great, great, great, great, great grandfather. My grandfater, James Wilson Lowman traced our history back all the way to Scotland and in the process had discovered this fact. It’s pretty cool knowing your family was part of something amazing.

I wish you all a very happy 4th of July and I have an update on the big contest. Thor Schrock has donated a great prize. He is giving away a 1 year membership to Rhapsody which will allow the winner to download unlimited music for a whole year! Thanks Thor!
I’m still looking for more prize donations. If you are interested, use the contact link at the top of the blog. No prize is too small.
