Happy New Year everyone.
Last month I ran a contest for a book called An American Hedge Fund: How I Made $2 Million as a Stock Operator & Created a Hedge Fund written by Timothy Sykes. Tim donated a signed copy to me to give away to one of my readers. The contest was fairly simple. All you had to do was either subscribe to my email feed by using the form at the top of this blog, comment on a particular post, or stumble or digg the contest post. I had 3 entrants for this contest and one of them had a much better chance of winning because they stumbled the post. Odds really are in your favor when you get more than one entry in a contest, especially if there aren’t many other entries.
So, without further ado…the winner of An American Hedge Fund is:
David Dunn from Ferrari Dave’s blog.
David got 5 entries for stumbling the original post and I used the random.org website to pick the winner. David, I don’t have your email so please contact me using the contact link at the top of this blog so I can send you the book. Congratulations.
If you didn’t win this time, not to worry 2008 is going to be a big year. I plan on having many more contests this year, maybe even a couple big ones. Perhaps an iPod or iPhone giveaway…who knows! Not only is it a leap year this year but I plan on making 2008 the most successful year ever for Million Dollar Portfolio. When I look back on the beginnings of this blog, it amazes me how much it has grown. Thank you all for continuing to read this blog and for subscribing to my RSS feed. Because of your support, this blog is already successful. I hope you all had the best New Year’s Eve ever and wish you the best in the coming year.
