Google Adwords Pitfalls
Adwords.
For a lot of people this makes or breaks their marketing campaign. For a lot of other people, Adwords generates thousands of dollars of sales every day. You read that right, EVERY DAY!
Advertising using Google Adwords is an age old tradition by now, but some have mastered the art better than others.
I just logged into my account to check on one of the campaigns I am running. To my horror, Google has decided they are going to rid me of my first born child. Ok not really, but one of my keywords has gone from a respectable $.10 cents to $5.00 a click. I would have to be out of my mind to think that $5.00 a click was going to convert into any kind of profit. I don’t care what you are selling, but the chump who agrees to this is only making money for Google.
The whole idea of a PPC (pay per click) campaign is that for very little money up front, you can produce a very large subscribership on the back end. It’s simple economics.
I guess Google either has other plans for PPC advertisers or is just riding the money whore train. $5.00 a click…you gotta be kidding me. Rupert Murdoch wouldn’t even pay that kind of money for advertising online…and doesn’t he own like Mars or something?

Heard a lot of horror stories from Google lately. Wonder what is going on?
