The 16GB iPod Touch that I won from the Million Euro Wiki contest arrived this morning by FedEx. I’m glad it came today because I had to sign for the package and lucky for me I work from home on Mondays and Fridays.The box itself is pretty small, only a little larger than the actual unit. As you can see it comes shrinkwrapped in plastic to protect the box itself.
Opening the box I found the following contents. Not pictured is the instruction booklet (like you need instructions for any Apple product)
Of course, in order to use it you gotta charge it up and synchronize your library. I’m disappointed in the options for connecting to the PC (no I don’t use a Mac but my wife does) as you can only use USB 2.0. I prefer firewire but I guess my USB 2.0 port is plenty fast enough..
If you look closely at this photo you can see my name on a business card…I assure you I did win this and didn’t purchase it with my own money.
It’s almost done copying my music library over so I will soon get to actually use it and test out all the features. I’ll be sure to let you all know how it performs.
