You’ve signed up for Agloco, you are an affiliate with Text-Link-Ads and you’ve milked the Google Cash machine as hard as you can but it’s still not enough! You just need that extra little bit of income so you can get out of the 9-5 grind.

Along comes Deal Dot Com. This new site has an affiliate program that you can get in on before the site launches, putting you in a potentially huge profit position. Just like John Chow has done with his Agloco sign-ups, you can do now with DealDotCom.

What’s in it for me, you ask?

It’s simple, the more people you sign up, the more money you can make because you get a percentage of the profits from sales. DealDotCom is all about products. All kinds of products. The money making potential is best quoted from their site:

When you refer others to DealDotCom and they get their free account, they are marked in our system as having been referred by you. Anything that they ever buy from us nets you a 35% commission. Notice the word “ever” in the previous sentence… as in FOREVER. It doesn’t matter if they buy something tomorrow, next week, or fifty years from now - you’re going to get paid. What’s more, anyone that they refer to DealDotCom goes on your second tier. Anything people on your second tier buy nets you a 15% commission. Again, FOREVER.

There you have it. Lifetime two-tier commissions at 15% and a top tier commission of 35% for direct sign ups.

The one thing to note about systems like this and I am by no means discouraging you from signing up, is that commissions means sales. In order to make money, people have to be buying stuff. That means you need to sell the site to people and convince them to buy. This is where you are going to have to be creative. For now you want to concentrate on building your network because when the site opens and orders start filling in you will already be in a good position to capitalize on your network.

But I hate selling!

I’m going to patently disagree with you right there. Do you realize how much money you make for other people every day? Every sandwich, soda, beer, ice cream, hot sauce or movie you buy is making money for someone. Why is it you are buying those things? You are sitting at your desk saying I could eat a sandwich right now…and bam! Quiznos or Subway or Togo’s pops into your head because you have been bombarded by advertising recently and for whatever reason that product came to mind first.

The next thing that happens is you decide you love that sandwich and tell all your friends and family about this awesome sandwich you had. Guess what? You just sold a product. Well not really, you sold the idea of a product to your friends and family. You just gave Quiznos a second-tier customer. Word of mouth is the most powerful selling tool around. Why? Because word of mouth is instant credibility. You vouched for the product which may in turn cause your friend to decide to buy that product. We see this all the time with movies. You’ve probably heard your friend say “oh well, so and so in the times said that movie sucked so i’m not going to see it.” Your friend has just based an opinion on the credibility of some stranger.

This sounds too good to be true.

Normally I would agree with you but the fact of the matter is it’s completely free to sign up as an affiliate and there is no minimum purchase you ever have to make, so you really have nothing to lose. As with any internet marketing venture you want to get in early because you have a better chance of building a network that is devoted to the idea before any kind of saturation hits. Even with millions of internet users a market can become saturated in some way depending on your niche.
