Steve Jobs unveils new iPod Nano

Apple Inc. today unveiled their new line of iPod devices. Steve Jobs showed off the new iPod nano which now sports a 2″ screen as well as a smaller “squat” design but just as thin as the video iPod. Apple also increased the storage from 1GB to 4GB and will sell it for $149.

iPod Classics

Also announced today was the iPod Classic. This 80GB model is just like the old video iPod and comes in metal and black.

iPod touch

And last but not least is the iPod touch. The iPod touch has the same screen as the iPhone and includes WiFi so you can watch videos from sites like YouTube as well as browse the web. The iPod touch will come in 8gb and 16gb configurations and will sell for $299 and $399 respectively. Ouch!

The last thing they announced was a partnership with Starbucks that will bring up an icon for WiFi where you can buy any of the songs you hear playing inside the store at the touch of a button.

Not really that exciting at the end there, but there it is. New iPods for the holiday season and more things you spend your money on.  Get all the details and more photos at Engadget.
