Buy Land Cheap
I’m selling some land. It’s really cheap too. It’s gonna cost you about $25.00 and it’s 512 meters in size.
I’m talking of course about land in Second Life. You haven’t heard of Second Life? It’s one of the fastest growing online communities out there. I say community even though at first glance it looks like a game.
Second Life is a virtual world where you can create an alterna-you. You create an avatar and explore the world. What you do in that world is completely up to you. Though recently Linden Lab, the company that makes Second Life has decided to comply with Federal and State regulation and ban gambling throughout the world.
The currency used in Second Life is called Lindens. Lindens are actually purchased with real US dollars and exchanged at a fluctuating rate. Currently that rate is about $L276 Lindens to $1 US Dollar, which explains why the land I am selling is only $25 USD. In-world it’s $L7000 which is actually a really fair price.
If you are interested in buying the land you can go to my parcel at Hewes and purchase it directly. Second Life is free to play so go to SecondLife.com and download it. Explore a little and have some fun and if you have any questions feel free to ask me. I’ve been making money in Second Life for about a year now.

Hi,
I was looking for places to discuss land, and found yours. It is amazing that it is now possible to buy and sell virtual land.
However buying land for only $100.00 is not only possible online. Check out the webpage www.landforpennies.com where I show how you can buy land worth Tens of thousands of dollars for under $1,000 a piece and often as little as $100.00.
Cheers,
Jack

Hey James,
I’m just looking into buying land on Second Life and making money with the game. I plan to check out your land. How did you start out making money on SL?

Hi Sara. I got started buying what’s called “first land” that is 512m squared and then sold it for about 5 times as much after a couple weeks because the person next to me happened to be expanding and wanted my land. I then bought another cheap piece of land and resold it.
After finding good deals like that and reselling them, I had quite a bit of lindens and I started investing in the World Stock Exchange since I invest in real stock exchanges I had some experience in trading. Feel free to email me or contact Flagusco Delacroix in SL.

James,
First land sounds like a very interesting concept. Based on your interaction in Second Life, do you see the rise in residents continuing? I’m going to install it and wander around this weekend. Perhaps I’ll track you down if I can figure out how. My name is Katarina Maggs.

I’m not sure if First Land is still available but if it is, you will find it in the search feature. You can use my SLurl in this post to check out the parcel I own. I do think SL is still growing and since the recent gambling ban I think residents are going to become even more creative as time goes on.
