With so many blog contests going on just about everywhere it seems, I figured I would run my own.

I’m not going to be giving away anything so hi-tech as a USB soda cooler like John Chow did. No brand new iPhone to be found here. No iPod either. I’m definitely not giving away a Microsoft Zune player either. Oh no no. I’m going old school.

Feast your eyes on the Casio Pocket Television TV-10, pictured here. It still works, with the UHF feature working best in my area.

It’s got a black and white screen and a speaker on the right with a volume knob, tuning knob and a backlight adjuster. There’s also a plug for an external antennae…not sure what that’s for or if they even make ones that fit. You can also turn on the backlight if you want or leave it off, giving the picture a strange LCD appearance much like old Nintendo Gameboys. I’m even going to throw in the machine stitched carrying case with the word Casio printed on it. The case has a velcro flap so you can be sure it won’t slip out accidentally. There’s also a strap on the TV itself.

This this is OLD SCHOOL ladies and gentlemen. There’s no video inputs or outputs, just an earphone jack…not a headphone jack. Remember those white little earphones from back in the day? You don’t? Well Google it already.

Honestly, I don’t know why you would want it, but i’m going to give it away anyhow. Some lucky person is going to walk away a winner. Isn’t that what’s best in life? Winning stuff for very little effort?
