In an attempt to re-create somewhat the famous Million Dollar Homepage, I have added a similar tool in my sidebar.

This is a way to use small icons to advertise with. What I love about this is it lets advertisers be totally creative in a new way. Million dollar homepage proved that pixel space does have value, but that site was purely gimmick. As an artistic experiment I think it’s more effective because what you end up with is a sort of digital adver-collage.

If you look closely there are some big names in there, but the opportunity also made it possible for little known websites to have a space on this virtual “wall”. A novel idea for sure.

My million dollar experiment so far is going along nicely. I have yet to report income as a result of my experiments but I believe they will be successful in the long run.

Any traffic is good traffic, and as they say, eyeballs is eyeballs…they say that, don’t they?
